2 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari Holidays
You will visit Rwanda and track the endangered gorillas in their natural habitat deep into the forest. These 2 days 1 night Rwanda gorilla tour will begin and end in Kigali Rwanda’s capital and its largest city. This tour more flexible for those tourists with few days in the country and if you are looking for a cheap tour it will offer you a chance for excellent viewing of gorillas in their natural home.
Detailed Trip Itinerary
Day1: Transfer to 2 Days Rwanda Gorilla
Wake up early in the morning by 4:30 am for preparation and then after, you will be driven by our safari guide to the park headquarters in Kinigi, the drive takes about 2 hours from Kigali to the park passing through beautiful and rolling hills which gives its name ‘’the land of a thousand hills’’. Arrive in time at the park headquarters and have an early breakfast followed by a short briefing from the park wardens about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. You will also get assigned to the gorilla family to visit; Rwanda has 11 habituated gorilla families that are ready to visitors on a daily basis.
You will follow the ranger guide deep into the rain forest to begin the search of gorillas. Trekking time is unpredictable however the search can go from 2-8 hours in the jungle so a reasonable degree of fitness is needed as well as tracking gears, once the apes are met you will forget all the troubles you have gone through and utilize the one hour you are only allowed with the gorillas for observation and photography. You will meet many other forest dwellers in the process of gorilla tracking including mammals, primates, and bird species. Day 2: Departure
After a robust breakfast, you will be driven back to Kigali and if you missed the first Kigali city tour go for a city tour and visit some of the interesting places around the city and after lunch continue to Kigali international airport and meet your departure flight back home I scheduled on this day.
